What is the RTO learner's licence test?

How is the test structured?

How do you start a free RTO mock test?

You can begin a learner licence test online practice round in four steps, with no signup.

  1. Pick your language.

Questions, options and explanations appear in the language you choose.

  2. Choose your test.

Select two-wheeler, four-wheeler, traffic signs or the quick 10 round.

  3. Beat the timer.

Each question has its own countdown. The test moves on automatically when time runs out.

  4. Review every answer.

See your score instantly, read the explanations, and practise the questions you missed.

Why practise here instead of only reading the rules?

You learn faster when you answer questions than when you only read. Every test gives you a score and an explanation straight away.

  • Free every time. You never pay, and you never create an account.

  • Private by design. We do not save your data, so you can retake any test.

  • Instant feedback. You see why an answer is right, not just that it is right.

  • Your own language. Read questions and explanations in the language you think in.

  • Both vehicles covered. Two-wheeler and four-wheeler learners each get a full test.

We built this practice platform especially for learners preparing in 2027.

Who is this learner's licence practice for?

It is for anyone preparing for an Indian learner's licence test, on two wheels or four.

  • First-time applicants who want to know how the exam feels.
  • Learners who prefer to study in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil or another regional language.
  • Anyone who wants a quick daily round before an RTO exam online test or an RTO visit.
  • Returning applicants who want to practise the questions they missed.
  • Parents or driving instructors who want to help a learner practise.

You do not need any prior knowledge of the rules. Start with the Question Bank if you are brand new, or jump straight into a mock test if you already know the basics.

How to pass LL test online: seven tips before you start

LL means learner's licence. Strong results on driving licence test questions India's RTO sets come from knowing the rules and signs, then practising under a timer.

  1. Read the question bank once. Our 27 questions cover rules and signs. Read them all before you test.
  2. Learn the three sign groups. Mandatory signs give orders, cautionary signs warn you, and informatory signs guide you. Try the Traffic Signs Quiz.
  3. Practise against the clock. Repeat a mock test until the 60-second timer feels normal. A timed RTO test online round builds that calm.
  4. Review every wrong answer. Read the explanation, then retake the Quick 10 the same day.
  5. Read all four options. Wrong options often sound sensible, so finish reading before you choose.
  6. Choose the safer action. When two answers look right, pick the one that stops, slows down or gives way.
  7. Check your state's rules. Question count and pass mark vary by state. Confirm them on Parivahan before test day.

A simple 7-day practice plan

This plan is our suggestion, not an official rule. Adjust it to your own schedule.

  • Days 1 and 2: read the Question Bank and learn the three sign groups.
  • Days 3 and 4: take the Two-Wheeler or Four-Wheeler Mock Test and review every wrong answer.
  • Days 5 and 6: take the Traffic Signs Quiz, then repeat your mock test and beat your last score.
  • Day 7: do a Quick 10 round, then check your state's rules on Parivahan.
